This soft, beautifully fragrant oil is ideally harvested during the rainy seasons. To secure the best possible product, tappers must work hardest in the wettest season of the year, maintaining the trees and cutting strips of bark as needed to stimulate the flow of the highly coveted elemi oleoresin from which this oil originates. When the season is wet and the trees are carefully tended, there is often a greater flow of oleoresin, producing the most potent form of elemi essential oil. Description
Elemi Essential Oil has a light balsamic and caraway-like-fragrance and is extracted from the oleoresin found mainly in resin channels inside the bark where it becomes like wax that shifts into a pasty yellow tint resembling the exquisite crystallized honey color.
This soft, beautifully fragrant oil is best produced during the rainy seasons when tappers can easily cut oblong strips of bark. When it is wet there is often a greater flow of oleoresin which produces the purest form of Elemi Essential Oil.
How to Use
NEAT: Elemi Essential Oil can be used directly on skin. NEAT means full strength. Use wisely as it is not appropriate to use any Essential Oil in the immediate eye area or on sensitive areas. It is safe to apply this oil NEAT on the bottoms of feet, palms of hands & wrists pulse points if no restrictions on use have been given by your physician.
Dilute: Since this Elemi Essential Oil is very POTENT, you will generate beneficial results by diluting it in carrier oil (any vegetable oil you prefer).
Diffuse: Add drops as desired to your diffusing method of choice and enjoy.
